Analog Tube Emulation
Marshall's innovative FDD (Frequency Dependent Damping) circuitry gives the MG4 Series the unbelievable depth of sound and unique feel of their legendary, all-tube amps. It does this by emulating the way an all-tube power amp interacts with the speaker(s) it is driving. The result? An amp that gives you the best of both worlds, not only producing the tone you're looking for, but offering an intuitive and totally programmable way of customizing, storing and accessing your favourite Marshall tones and features.

Preset and Manual Modes
The MG30FX features two modes: Preset and Manual. Preset mode stores the position of all the controls except the master volume, allowing you to store the settings for each channel for instant recall.

Selecting a channel automatically recalls the settings stored within the channel. The physical position of the front panel controls automatically update.

In Manual mode, the amp behaves like any other amp--adjust the controls to your liking on the fly; channel-switching won't recall stored positions (although you can of course save one if you like it).

Four Channels
On the MG30FX guitar amp combo, the available channels are Clean, Crunch, OD1 and OD2--four different foundations upon which to build your sound.

Switching seamlessly between channels is easy with the push button controls, or you can add an optional footswitch.

Reverb and Digital effects
The MG30FX allows two simultaneous effects--Reverb and one of these four digital effects: Chorus, Phaser, Flanger or Delay.

All four effects are controlled by a single knob. Turning clockwise increases the speed on the modulation effects and the level of the delay effect.

The delay can be manually set using the front panel Tap button, which allows you to match the delay time to the time between two presses.

Headphone/Line Output
The combination line out/headphone out features speaker cabinet emulation, giving you full Marshall sound when recording or practicing through headphones (when a jack is inserted into the socket the unit's speaker is muted).

Line Input
The 3.5mm MP3 / Line In socket allows the connection of an external audio source, such as an MP3 or CD player. Plug it in and play along.

Stompware Footswitch (Optional)
Upgrade your rig with the Stompware footswitch, which provides seamless transitioning between channels, foot control of the tap tempo delay, plus a built-in tuner with LCD display.
